White Bear Lake | Family Session

Photographing the relationships that exist between my clients is a true joy of mine.  When I was contacted by the close family friend that's pictured below, I was thrilled to learn that she wanted to do a portrait session with her two grandsons.  The images you see speak to the playful and loving bond that exists between these three.  Throughout their session I kept a close watch on their interactions and I worked to capture the candid moments that I thought would illustrate their unique and loving bond.  I believe I was able to do so and I invite you to see if you agree with me after looking through the images below. 

Newborn Session: Landon & Family

Working with Landon and his family was a great treat!  For first time parents, I was overly impressed with both mom and dad and their relaxed and easy going demeanor.  Just being in the studio with them brought a sense of calm to our session. 

It is also not a surprise that Landon was nothing but cooperative and easy to manuever!  As he fell into a deep sleep, we witnessed a few precious smiles and I was touched when he was comforted by the touch and presence of both his mom and dad on numerous occasions. 

'Tis the Season for Families

We would like to thank all of our clients for a wonderful year!  As always we appreciate you for choosing Wilson Whitaker Photography and wish you a wonderful holiday filled with family fun, friends, good food, celebration and a bit of relaxation.  We look forward to 2012 as there are exciting changes ahead and will see you soon!  (Our studio location is closed for the holidays Dec. 23rd - Jan.2, 2012). 

St. Anthony: Kranz Family

Another beautiful family that I couldn't resist posting before the Thanksgiving break!  This was such a relaxed and enjoyable session for me.  The Kranz family is sweet, fun-loving and very photogenic don't you think???

Once again this week we wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving!  We hope you are able to relax and enjoy some down-time with your loved ones...and that you get to eat some turkey, stuffing, and pie too!!!

St. Paul: Ciccarelli Family

Thanksgiving is quickly approaching and it's a great time to reflect on what you're thankful for.  At Wilson Whitaker Photography we are thankful for our families, our health, our many blessings, friends, our dedicated staff, and our wonderful clients that call our studio their "home".  We hope you are able to find time this week to revel in the company of your loved ones as well as enjoy some delicious food together.  We feel so blessed in our lives and hope that you feel as lucky as we do to give thanks!  

6 Month Milestone: Caleb

This smiley guy was so much fun to work with!  I've been photographing his family for some time now and it's just amazing how quickly he has grown and changed from his newborn photos.  What stood out from this session for me were of course Caleb's beautiful, blue eyes, and his overall inquisitive and happy personality. 

Silly Brothers

It is always my pleasure to photograph the families and children that I do.  This session was no exception!  Nolan and Gavin arrived at the studio with lots of energy and smiles.  During their session both boys were fun-loving and silly.  It was great to capture not only their personalities throughout our time together but to also have captured a sweet moment or two between brothers is priceless! 

Hendrickson Family

Photographing families is just one of the things I LOVE about my job!   It's always a great time when children are happy to be at the studio and willing to show their personalities in front of the camera.  This session couldn't have went any better!  The entire crew was cooperative and fun and I can't wait to show them their images when they come in next week.

A Fun-Loving Toddler

I decided to try something new in today's post.  Enjoy an acrostic poem about sweet little Vivian!  As always, it's a joy to work with her and her family.

A Great OpLove Session

It was my pleasure to photograph this happy couple and their little guy as part of an Operation Love Reunited session.  If I had to sum up the experience in just a few words, I would say energetic, filled with love and bittersweet as dad has since deployed.  I am so fortunate to work with such great people!  A special thank you to the family for choosing Wilson Whitaker Photography to capture your precious moments.

20 Monkeys Jumped On Our Bed!

We had so much fun at our limited edition session on Friday July 29th at the Pine Tree Apple Orchard!  There were lots of smiles, giggles, running in the field, throwing feathers and pillows and of course JUMPING on our bed.  Take a peak at just some of the excitement we captured.
