Whew! Where has the time gone and did summer already pass us by? As the weather turns and the temperatures start to drop, I thought these cutie pies would bring a smile to your face. Lots of great moments fom our August Mini Sessions at Bellaire Beach and our White Bear Lake studio.
Did you miss this year's 2012 Manitou Days Pet Parade? If so, we captured LOTS of adorable and well behaved pets to give you a sense of what you missed! As you can see from some of the images below, participants were encouraged to dress in costume and it was a fun and light-hearted event. A pet blessing and contest followed the parade and we couldn't have been happier for the opportunity to capture images of the pet owners and their furry family members. A special thank you to Sher Stoneman, colleague and friend, for her assistance and photography skills! We had a blast!!!
Despite the gloomy weather that pierced the sky last Thursday for the first night of Marketfest we were able to enjoy the evening. We had lots of visitors to our tent, we each ate something delicious and it was fun to visit with those we met. We hope you'll join us this Thursday June 21st from 6-9pm for some FREE facebook photos (and beautiful weather...of course!)
The last day of school has arrived for kids, teachers and parents. The sunshine and warm weather are both upon us! The parks and beaches are becoming more packed and I don't know about you, but my flowers are bursting out of their pots and I just can't help but smile.
Another sure sign that summer has arrived? Marketfest starts one week from tomorrow! The outdoor, downtown White Bear Lake festival runs every Thursday evening from 6-9pm from June 14th to July 26, 2012. There is definitely something for everyone who attends. Delicious food, music on 2 stages, entertainment and fun for all ages are just a few things you'll encounter. You'll also be able to take FREE facebook profile photos in our booth again this year! They were a HUGE hit last summer and we can't wait to see what we capture starting next week.

The weather is beginning to show signs of fall. When I walk outside I can smell the hint of fall and the hot, humid weather is most likely gone until next summer. The leaves will soon change colors and you'll have just a short amount of time to capture your family's portrait with the beautiful fall foliage as your backdrop.
