2nd Annual Women's Expo Tomorrow!

We are delighted to once again be part of 180 Degree Kettlebell Gym's 2nd Annual Women's Expo!  If you're looking to shop or want to hunt for some great bargains, grab a girlfriend and stop by the Centerville gym location (6845 20th Ave S. Also, Expo proceeds and entrance fees will be donated to The Emily Foundation which is a non-profit which works to eliminate eating disorders through education and advocacy.  They also work in the community to raise awareness about eating disorders and work to support individuals and families so that they have access to treatment.

Bring on the Smiles!

Our Operation Smile campaign is underway at the studio!  This October, photographers from across the country are joining together with PPA Charities (the philanthropic arm of Professional Photographers of America) in promoting "Family Portrait Month." This national fund-raising effort will benefit Operation Smile, which treats children around the world who suffer with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities. In the month of October we will be donating a significant portion of a child or family's session fee to Operation Smile. We are very excited about this opportunity!!!

3 Year Milestone: Lily

When Lily and her brother AJ walked through the door of our White Bear Lake studio I knew I was in for a treat!  Not only was Lily an adorable little girl with beautiful, big, brown eyes that could make your heart melt, but she was also happy, lively and funny!  Her brother AJ is just as cute in appearance and personality.  To work with little ones of this caliber is a blessing.  In fact, it is one of the best parts of my day.  I love getting to know the children of the various families that I work with and take pride in capturing images that tell the story of who my clients are on the day they visit me.  For Lily, I believe I captured her true personality, but don't take my word for it...I think the images speak for themselves!

Newborn Session: Caden

Working with itty bitty's is always a joy for me!  For this little guy, I traveled to his home and with both mom and dad's help, I was able to manipulate him in his own environment.  Caden was just precious to work with and even alert for some of our time together, which is always fun.  Congratulations again to his loving family, he is one special little guy!

6 Month Milestone: Naolin

Another adorable milestone session was completed just before the holidays.  Check out these precious 6 month photos of baby Naolin (pronounced Now leen) and her parents.  Her facial expressions are quite entertaining and her cheeks are just asking to be squeezed!

Santa and Albert's Holiday Play

This holiday season experience a brand new, lively, audience participation-filled play titled, “The North Pole Goes Green," starring Santa and his trusted elf Albert at Bachmans on Lyndale (6010 Lyndale Ave S, Minneapolis, MN (612) 861-7676).  The show and overall Santa experience lasts through this weekend and you don't want to miss your chance on either Sat. or Sun. at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. or 2 p.m. 

There is no cost for this exquisite event and after an approx. 25 min. show (put on by Santa and Albert the Elf, both professional storytellers), there is a carol sing-along (where kids are invited up on stage) and then there are opportunities to get photos in a comfortable and relaxing set.  Be advised, you must bring your own camera to take photos but the images you will capture will no doubt be priceless!

White Bear Lake Senior: Jamie

Jamie has as much personality as she does beauty!  If you can't tell from the images below, her session was relaxed and so much fun.  She wasn't afraid to just be herself in front of the camera and it's obvious that her fun-loving spirit carried through in her photographs.  Working with her has been a breeze and I'm looking forward to designing her custom announcements this spring.  Thanks Jamie for choosing Wilson Whitaker Photography!!!

St. Anthony: Kranz Family

Another beautiful family that I couldn't resist posting before the Thanksgiving break!  This was such a relaxed and enjoyable session for me.  The Kranz family is sweet, fun-loving and very photogenic don't you think???
